How vendor reputation works
How do you gain vendor reputation (REP) in Gray Zone Warfare?
Every sale to a vendor and every purchase from one adds REP. The calculator uses community-measured rates: selling to most vendors gives 1 REP for every started $167 of an item's sale price, selling to Vulture 1 REP for every started $100, and buying gives about 1 REP per $486 spent (7 REP per $3,400). Each sale and purchase is rounded up on its own.
What is the buy and resell method?
Buy an item from a vendor and sell it straight back. Each cycle earns REP for both the purchase and the sale, and costs the difference between the purchase price and the buyback price. The calculator tells you how many cycles you need, how much you spend and get back, and the minimum cash to start with.
Is it better to sell loot or to buy and resell?
Selling loot costs nothing but depends on what you find; buying and reselling is fast and predictable but costs money every cycle. Switch between the two modes to compare the net loss of reselling with how much loot you would need to sell.
Why is Vulture calculated differently?
Vulture gives more REP per dollar when you sell to him (1 per $100 instead of per about $167). His buying rate has not been confirmed by the community yet, so buy and resell results for Vulture are an estimate.
How accurate is the result?
The rates are community-reported and the game may round slightly differently, so treat the result as a close estimate and leave a small buffer above your target REP. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
